The Admissions Process
A simple, transparent journey from your first inquiry to your child's first day at Ebidou Comprehensive Academy.
Inquiry
Reach out to our admissions office by phone, email, or by visiting our campus. We will gladly answer your questions and provide all the information you need about Ebidou Comprehensive Academy.
Application
Complete the online application form or pick up a physical form at the school. Submit all required documents including the child’s birth certificate and two recent passport photographs.
Assessment
Prospective students sit for a brief entrance assessment appropriate to their age and intended class. This helps us place every child where they will thrive best.
Offer
Successful applicants receive an official admission offer letter detailing the section, class, fees, and next steps. Offers are typically sent within one week of the assessment.
Enrollment
Accept the offer, pay the required fees, and complete enrollment. Welcome to the Ebidou family — your child’s journey to excellence begins!
Admission Requirements
Each section has specific requirements. Please prepare the relevant documents before submitting your application.
Pre-Nursery & Nursery (Ages 2 – 5)
- Completed application form
- Birth certificate (photocopy)
- Two recent passport photographs
- Immunisation / vaccination record
- Parent/guardian valid ID
Primary School (Ages 6 – 11)
- Completed application form
- Birth certificate (photocopy)
- Two recent passport photographs
- Last report card from previous school
- Transfer certificate (if applicable)
- Parent/guardian valid ID
Secondary School (Ages 12 – 17)
- Completed application form
- Birth certificate (photocopy)
- Two recent passport photographs
- Primary 6 / Common Entrance result
- Transfer certificate from previous school
- Last term report card
- Parent/guardian valid ID
Note: All documents should be submitted in person at the school office or uploaded with the online application. Originals may be required for verification during enrollment.

2026/2027 Admissions Cycle:
- Application Opens: January 2026 — Applications open for the 2026/2027 academic session across all sections.
- Entrance Assessment: March – April 2026 — Scheduled assessments for primary and secondary applicants at our Yenagoa campus.
- Offer Letters Released: May 2026 — Admission offers sent to successful applicants via email and post.
- Enrollment & Fee Payment: June – August 2026 — Acceptance of offers, fee payment, and completion of enrollment formalities.
- Resumption Date: September 2026 — First day of school for the 2026/2027 academic session.
